Our loft conversions in Wolverhampton and the West Midlands start from around £40,000. The final price depends on the type of conversion, the size and shape of your loft, and the finish you choose.
Every loft is different, so we don't give fixed prices online. We visit, look at the roof structure and give you a clear written quote that sets out what's included.
As a general guide, Velux conversions tend to cost the least because the roof shape doesn't change. Dormer and hip-to-gable conversions cost more because the roof is altered. Mansard conversions involve the most structural work and usually cost the most.
Planning fees, building regulations, structural calculations and any architect's drawings can be separate costs, and we'll explain which apply to your project.
When comparing quotes, look at what's included, not just the headline figure: structural work, roof coverings, insulation, the staircase, windows and finishing all add up.
The main things that affect the price of a loft conversion are:
We go through each of these with you during the site visit, so the quote reflects your home and plans.

A Velux conversion is usually the most affordable, because roof windows are fitted into the existing slope and the roof shape stays the same. It does need enough head height in the loft to begin with.
A loft conversion adds a bedroom, bathroom or office without using any garden space. Whether it adds value depends on your home and local prices, so it's worth speaking to a local estate agent as well.
Our written quote sets out the structural work, roofing, windows, insulation, staircase and finishing for your project, so you can see what you're paying for. We'll point out anything outside the quote, such as planning or building control fees.
Loft conversions and roofing require careful planning before work begins. We assess the roof space, access and build approach early to keep the project organised and moving without avoidable delays.
